gai vs kakashi..

gai or kakashi this is the answer everybody wanted to know ...so who is faster gai or kakashi...

Who is "faster"? That would be Gai. He's the most skilled Taijutsu user in Konoha. He could run circles around Kakashi, but that wouldn't guarantee a victory for Gai if they went head to head. Kakashi's got some tricks up his sleeve.

Yeah, Kakashi has fast reactions because he can predict the enemy's counter-moves with his Sharingan, but Gai is at a higher advantage when it comes to actual speed of movement.

Yes, Kakashi's fast. Gai is faster. If Gai opened his Sixth Gate, there would be no chance of Kakashi keeping up with him. But speed, doesn't solely determine the outcome of a battle.

i no speed is not evary i think you need to be smart...but cant kakashi open gates to...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he can, but I don't think it's ever been shown to what extent.

even though kakashi can't keep up with gai's attacks, he has sharingan and can anticipate his moves therefore counterattacking and destroying gai.

It wouldn't matter if Kakashi could predict Gai's movement, because Kakashi's movements to react wouldn't be fast enough to counter an attack at Gai's speed. Going into hand to hand combat with Sixth Gate Gai would not work out for Kakashi.

if were talking about normal gai kakashi takes that one. now if gai went all eight gates there is just no way kakashi could keep up.

ya this is what i was going to say, if no gates are being used i definally say kakashi because it is like gai with 1/10 of his possibilities vs. kakashi with no real limits (i know no gates is a small limit but he doesn't really use it and i dont think he would turn it into a "who can open more gates faster" fight, thats not kakashi style). Now gated gai would probably win i think he can use more gates and even if its the same he is still better at tiajutsu so he would win. Gai is a lot faster then Kakashi.

Kakashi's sharingan and his base speed wouldn't be able to keep up. He would need to use an excess amount of ninjutsu to kill Gai, and he doesn't have that amount of chakra.

Gai is faster then the eye can see.. and beyond. People say he's subsonic even without the gates.

Gai can kill him with one hit.. he's extremely powerful.. he smashes through stone walls with a swing of his foot. One blow would crack the bones in the area of impact.. and probably smash every organ under the bones. I think Gai has this. None of Kakashi's ninjutsu could defeat Gai. And his taijutsu is weaker then Gai's, and genjutsu is out of the question since he hasn't shown any improvment from the D-rank he used on Sakura.

Gai can speed blitz this, I don't see Kakashi even being able to land a hit on Gai with any ninjutsu, or taijutsu.

MS takes prep time, and is too inaccurate to hit someone with the speed Gai obtains.
