The interpretation could be pretty ambiguous. 'Course, any NaruHina or SasuSaku fan could tell you in a heartbeat that NaruSaku's dead, but the way it looks to me, I'd have to agree with Melissa. Though, if you really wanted an honest answer... It's development. That's all I can really say. It's development, and at this point, it can either be good or bad.

One more thing I can tell you, though, is that In the Naruto series, development usually ends up being good. This thing needs to be resolved, and so it shall. And I don't really see Naruto and Sakura, two team mates whose relationship is important to the series ending up hating each other like petty children.

I'll say it was a blow if sakura just came out of no where with this, but since it been hinted in the past that she does have feelings for naruto, she does actually feel that way, and it benefits. Sakura just came out with her feelings the wrong way, & sure they have a little spat but what real couple doesn't?

Anyways, I'm of the opinion that 469 - 470 are supposed to show us Sakura's development. It wasn't very ambiguous IMO if you read the whole conversation in a lump sum. Sakura seems to be very defensive of her position, and that would be to protect Naruto from himself (his drive to save Sasuke) because she loves him. The other thing I found in this chapter to be clear in terms of Naruto development, is that we see he hasn't seen ANY signs of Sakrua loving him. He has also said he doesn't want her to not have her own happiness, but that is not the case. He is the problem this time xD (something I never thought I'd say, but it's the truth for once, lol!). The main thing to remember: Naruto and Sakrua both have half of the puzzle. Sakrua knows what Naruto knew when he was questioning Sasuke's integrity, and she came to a similar conclusion as him. Naruto, however, knows of Konoha's dark side, and knows Sasuke believes this theory that Konoha has Uchiha slaughtered. With all of this in mind, it is VERY safe to assume that the feelings are mutual, but that there's a couple of obstacles that need to be overcomed before they can become an item.

Just my take on the chapters.

Well i skimmed the chapter when Sakura hugged him and with everything else in mind, here is what i get. Sakura still has lingering doubts about sasuke, and its apparent to naruto that she does. She goes all tsunadere and this fires Naruto up in turn. From what i see though, throughout part two is that Sakura genuinly has deeper feelings for Naruto. As for Naruto, he has shown by hiding his own, and from what i remeber in the one tailed arc. Is that she means a hell of a lot more than he leads on, since itachi used that genjutsu and made the image of her screw with him.

sasusaku fans and naruhina fans are bugging me about how naruto didnt gush for sakura, and how her confession wasnt sincere. So all of a sudden sakura is a dirty backstabbing no good liar who plays with other peoples emotions. when she said she loved sasuke the first time, then by their logic. She clearly pittied sasuke becuase of his upbringing and wanted to make him happy,(she said that in her confession right before poal,she never said love)but in reality she has no real feelings of love for him.
so I think the part about her loving Naruto is true,but it;s mucked up by how she did it, and how she lied about sasuke.

very true twilight ^^. the whole sasuke thing, is going to be a obstacle becuase now naruto sees a dark side of kohona.(imo I see it too, breifly) so now hes determined to save sasuke, and find a way to get him into exile or something. As for sakura, i do not know shes a puzzle to me. *keep in mind that im taking all sorts of information, i never actually read the chapters*
the puzzle thing is a great analogy, she needs to prove how she feels, but thats something she has just come to realize.
and Naruto well, he needs to stop sasuke and madara, and get his head out of his butt. Its annoying how he know kohona is corrupt and that sakura likes him,but still focuses all on sasuke.

Laugh out loud, I was antzier than a raddle snake in a pickle barrel on a hot day in the middle of july during a parade becuase I thought the canon might happen, and the HInata thing bugged me, so ill say that now.

Hinata kept saying how she wanted to be strong like him,so he was her hero inspiration. An idol if you will, she never visits him in the hospitol, and has a buddy buddy relationship with Kiba. She isnt a frail invalid, and has a life that is complete with the arrival of her team and the acceptance of her father and family.

Oddly, I wasn't caring too much for the Naruto/Sakura part of the chapter. I'm still spazzing over Kisame vs KB, Kisame's screentime and PoV, and KB's "Your eyes are pretty" line

Not gonna happen PH, people will keep saying their opinion, thats a fact. Heck, I won't be surprised if they SPECULATE that Naruto and Sakura will break up even IF they ends up together at the end of the manga (This situation will apply for ANY other pairings too though, not just Narusaku). Thats what fans do afterall, its in the job description.

That's my opinion, people said it's over because they had a little spat, but couples do have spats. I been with my current girlfriend since 2007 & we argued half the time, but we're still together. The problem is most ppl who read/watch Naruto are teenagers, and teen relationship are over with one argument, this is why most ppl like NaruHina because they're no bad moments, but it still hardly any moments, the perfect example of a high school relationship.
